Live Shipping with USPS, FedEx, UPS & More!
Professional and Premium editions come with live carrier rates from USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, Australia Post, and Canada Post. Note: this video shows the older API key method — Oauth is much simpler!
Live Shipping Rates
Once your live carrier accounts are connected in Shipping Settings, add live rates here.
Adding a rate such as Ground or 2nd Day Air doesn’t guarantee the carrier will always return it. UPS, FedEx, and USPS only return rates that actually work for a given address — Ground delivery may not reach Hawaii or international addresses, and 2nd Day Air may not be available everywhere either.
Add several rates — not just one
It’s important to add several rates so customers are always presented with a shipping option. Skip this and a customer may end up with $0.00 shipping when no rate matches, letting the order go through with no shipping charged at all.
UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, Australia Post, Canada Post
- Shipping Type: Select the carrier you’ll use. You must have the account set up in the settings area for it to work.
- Shipping Label: What you want the customer to see — match the carrier method name or customize it.
- Override Price: Select a shipping method but override the returned price. For example, make Ground shipping always free by overriding it to $0.00.
- Free Shipping Threshold: Offer free shipping once a cart total is reached — e.g. $75.00 triggers $0.00 shipping on this method.
- Shipping Zone: Applies a post billing/shipping address filter; if a match is found, this rate appears. We recommend leaving it at ‘No Zone’ unless you understand how the post filter works.

Static Shipping Methods
Enter a shipping label and a rate. Fast, stable, and dead simple.
This basic static method lets you enter a shipping label and a rate. The customer sees a simple selection screen at checkout, and the lowest rate is always used as the default shopping cart rate they see first. It’s the most basic, stable shipping solution EasyCart offers.

Need a pricing strategy based on cart contents? Set a trigger, get the matching rate.
Each of these four table rate systems looks for a trigger — a price, a weight, a quantity, or a percentage — and applies the matching rate to the cart. All four only look at ‘shippable’ products, which you set when creating or editing each product.
