Products

The Manage Products page has been completely redesigned to give you a faster, more flexible way to run your store. From a single screen you can view your catalog in three different layouts, edit nearly every field inline by double-clicking it, filter and bulk-edit dozens of products at once, and import or export your entire catalog as a CSV. Whether you sell ten products or ten thousand, this page is built to keep up.

EasyCart allows you to sell virtually any kind of product you can conceive — retail goods, downloads, gift cards, donations, service-based products, subscriptions and memberships. The Manage Products screen is the command center for all of it. The full product editor (covered in the Product Details docs) is still there for deep edits, but most day-to-day changes can now be made right from this overview.

Creating your First Product

Create your first product is as easy as entering a title, description, price. Learn the basics of setting up your first product.

Three Ways to View Your Products

Every store owner works differently. Some prefer a visual grid of product photos, others want a dense data table, and power users want a spreadsheet they can fly through with the keyboard. The view switcher in the top-right of the Manage Products page lets you flip between all three at any time — your filters, search, and selections carry over.

Table View

The default view shows your products in a clean table with thumbnail, title, SKU, price, stock, category, completeness score, active status, and ID. It’s the best balance of detail and density — ideal for scanning your catalog and spotting issues at a glance. The completeness score (the green circle on each row) tells you how fully built-out each product is, so you can quickly find products that need attention.

Card View

Card view puts your product photography front and center. Each card shows the main product image, title, SKU, price, sale percentage, stock level, and a completeness bar. This is the most visual way to browse your catalog and is especially useful for fashion, art, food, or any store where the image is the product. The active toggle stays in the top corner of each card so you can enable or disable products without opening anything.

Spreadsheet View

Spreadsheet view is built for speed. It’s a tight, dense grid — think of it like working in Excel directly on your live catalog. Double-click any cell to edit it inline, tab between fields, and rip through updates without ever opening a product editor. This is the view most store owners settle into once they have a few dozen products and need to make frequent small changes.

Inline Editing — Double-Click Any Cell

The biggest workflow improvement on the new Manage Products page is inline editing. Almost every field you see — SKU, price, sale price, quantity, category, image, active status — can be edited directly from the list. Just double-click the cell, make your change, and tab or click away to save. No more opening the full product editor for a one-line update.

SKU Updates

Double-click any SKU to edit it inline. Useful for one-off corrections, matching SKUs to a new supplier system, or fixing typos — without leaving the product list.

Price & Sale Price Adjustments

Click into the price column to update list price and sale price right on the row. The sale percentage and strike-through display update automatically as soon as you save.

Inline price adjustments

For products with tiered, quantity-break, or option-based pricing, the inline editor also exposes the advanced pricing rules so you can adjust them without opening the full product editor.

Quantity Updates

Stock levels are one of the most-edited fields in any store. Update on-hand quantity directly from the row — great for after a delivery or a stocktake.

Inline quantity updates

If your product has variants (sizes, colors, etc.), the inline quantity editor expands to show stock per variant so you can update each one without leaving the page.

Image Updates

Need to swap a product photo? Double-click the thumbnail and upload or pick a new image from the media library. The new image is reflected across both the admin and the storefront instantly.

Quick Category Adding

Click the category cell to add or remove categories on the fly. You can assign a product to multiple categories at once and even create a new category right from the dropdown without navigating away.

Enable & Disable Products

Every product row (and every card in card view) has an active toggle. Flip it off to hide a product from the storefront without deleting it — perfect for seasonal items, out-of-stock products you’ll restock later, or anything you’re not quite ready to launch.

Filtering & Top-Bar Quick Groups

The row of stat tiles across the top of the Manage Products page is more than just a dashboard — every tile is a one-click filter. Tap Active, Inactive, Out of Stock, Low Stock, No Image, $0 Price, Incomplete, On Sale, or Square Synced to instantly narrow the list to just those products. It’s the fastest way to find catalog issues that need attention.

For more detailed filtering, the Filters button opens a side panel where you can stack filters by manufacturer, category, price range, stock range, tax status, sync status, and more. Your active filters are shown as a badge count, and you can clear them all with one click.

Bulk Actions

The checkbox in the header lets you select every product on the current page (or every product matching your filters) and apply an action to all of them at once. Available bulk actions include:

  • Activate / Deactivate — turn a group of products on or off in one click
  • Delete — permanently remove multiple products at once
  • Export to CSV — export the selected products to a spreadsheet
  • Category & Manufacturer assignments — reassign groups of products in one step

You can also choose how many products to show per page from the bottom-left selector, up to 500 at a time for large bulk operations.

Note: Exporting all products can be a server-intensive process and some servers may run out of time or memory during this process. If you have more than 500 products, EasyCart will break your export file down into 500-product chunks and zip them together for you. This allows for more server compatibility across the WordPress community.

Import & Export with CSV

The Import Products button in the top-right opens the same proven CSV import/export tool EasyCart users have relied on for years. Export your full catalog, edit it in Excel or Google Sheets, and import it back to update hundreds or thousands of products in a single pass. The CSV format is unchanged, so existing import templates and workflows continue to work.

Row Actions — Edit, Duplicate, Delete

The Actions column at the end of each row (the … menu) gives you per-product controls: open the full editor, duplicate the product as a starting point for a similar item, or delete it. Duplicating is especially handy when you’re building a series of products that share most of their settings — copy, rename, change a few fields, and you’re done.
