The product itself
Names, price and text
What the product is called, what it costs and what it says, and how complete the listing is.
Product Details
Title, SKU, link slug, manufacturer, price and description
no stored settingsThe Product Details card holds what every product needs. The Title is the name shoppers see and search for. The SKU is your own reference, used on cart lines, orders and packing slips. The Link Slug is generated from the title; the lock beside it stops it following later title edits, which matters once a product has an address people have bookmarked.
Manufacturer is picked here, or created on the spot by typing a new name and clicking Create. Price and Previous Price also live on this card: a previous price higher than the price shows crossed out next to it, and one lower than the price is not shown at all. When a product has variations priced on their own, a chip under the prices says so and opens them.
Below the card sit two more. Short Description is shown on product listings and grids, so keep it to the sentence that makes somebody click. Specifications adds an optional specs tab on the product page for dimensions, materials and compatibility.
💡 Note: Whether the short description shows on grid tiles, and whether it sits above or below the Add to cart button, is set under Settings › Store › Products.

A checklist of what the product is still missing
no stored settingsA bar above the card scores how complete the listing is. Click it to open the checklist: at least one product image, a description, a short description for listings, a price, a category, an SEO description, a shipping weight, a stock decision, and whether the product is active in the store. With PRO, a product with variations is also checked for a SKU on every variation, and a subscription product for Stripe being set up to bill it.
Each item names the tab where it is fixed. The products list has its own completeness Score column and an Incomplete filter, which is the quickest way to find the half-finished products across the catalog.
Around the edges
Tabs and the header
The tabs on its page, and the switch, save button and menu at the top of the editor.
Product tabs
Extra tabs on this product’s page, from the Tabs extension
no stored settingsThe Product tabs card lists the tabs on this product’s page in order: the built-in Description, Specifications and Customer reviews, plus any you add. Tabs can be designed here, started from a template, hidden on this product, or copied from another product.
Adding your own tabs needs the Tabs extension, which is included with Premium. Without it the card says so and offers it.
The editor header
Active or draft, saving, and the More actions menu
no stored settingsThe switch in the header sets whether the product is Active in the store or a Draft, and it saves the moment you flip it. A draft keeps everything it has and is simply not shown, which is the right way to take something off sale for a while: deleting loses the history and the address. A Role restricted marker appears beside it when the product is limited to a user role on the Organization tab.
Everything else saves with the Save button. The header shows Unsaved changes while there are edits waiting, and each tab with edits carries a dot in the section list. Find a setting above that list searches every tab.
The More actions menu ( the dots ) holds Add New Product, Duplicate Product, the Product QR code, a help video and the documentation. The QR code links to the product page and downloads as a PNG for packaging, shelf labels or flyers.
💡 Note: Switching a product to Draft keeps it, its address and its history. Prefer it to deleting for anything seasonal or temporarily unavailable.
