What this product has actually done
no stored settingsThe Activity tab is the product’s own record, loaded when you open it. Performance counts, over all time, the Units sold, Revenue, Orders, Product views and the Stock waitlist, the shoppers waiting to hear it is back in stock.
Recent Orders lists the latest orders with this product, each with the quantity, unit price, date and status, and opens the order. Top Customers lists who bought the most, with units and orders, and links to the customer where they have an account.
This answers the questions you have while looking at a product. Whether it is selling at all. Whether it sells to the same people again, which says something quite different from selling once to many. Whether a price change moved anything.
Where else to look
The other histories this product carries
no stored settingsActivity is one of several records kept against a product, and knowing which to open saves time.
Stock history, on the Inventory & Shipping tab, shows every stock movement with its reason, which is where a counting discrepancy is resolved.
Offers shows every discount that can apply to the product and the orders it touched, which is where you find out whether discounting it was worthwhile.
Reviews shows what customers said.
For anything spanning the catalog rather than one product, Reports covers the same ground with date ranges and comparisons.
💡 Note: For trends across the catalog rather than one product, see Reports. For a step by step walkthrough, see How to Find Your Best Products, Customers and Sources.
