Where it lives, and how the panel works
From your WordPress dashboard open EasyCart › Settings, then pick Countries & Regions under Customize.

Search instead of hunting
The search box at the top of the page filters it as you type, and it matches hidden keywords as well as names. The same box on the Settings home searches every panel at once.
Jump between sections
A section list sits beside the page and follows you down it, so you can move straight to the part you came for without scrolling through everything between.
Advanced settings are folded away
Each section hides its rarely-changed settings behind a Show N advanced settings link, naming the first few so you know whether it is worth opening. 0 of the 0 settings on this page start folded.
Dependent settings appear as needed
Settings shown indented here only exist once the setting above them is switched on. Expand a country and its regions appear beneath it; collapse it and they fold away again.
Saving
Switches and dropdowns save the moment you change them. Anything you type collects in a save bar at the foot of the page that counts your unsaved changes and warns you before you navigate away.
Locked settings
Rows marked with a padlock need WP EasyCart PRO or Premium. They stay visible so you can see what the upgrade adds. Nothing on this page is locked.

The country list
Which countries appear at checkout, and which you will actually ship to
no stored settingsOne row per country, each carrying its name, its two-letter and three-letter ISO codes, a ship-to switch, a display order and a count of its regions. The ship-to switch is the important one: it decides whether a shopper can pick that country during checkout. Turning it off does not delete anything, so a country you stop shipping to keeps its regions and its tax settings and can be switched back on later.
Rows can be edited inline, added, and deleted, and you can select several and enable, disable or delete them together, which is how you go from the full world list to the handful of countries you serve without clicking a hundred times.
The ISO codes are validated as you type: two letters for the short code, three for the long one, and duplicates are refused because a repeated code breaks address handling and carrier lookups. The display order controls where a country sits in the checkout drop-down, which is how you lift your main markets to the top rather than leaving shoppers to scroll alphabetically.
There is a restore option that brings the shipped defaults back. It is the escape hatch if the list has been edited into a state you cannot unpick.
💡 Note: Switching ship-to off is not the same as deleting. A disabled country keeps its regions, ISO codes and VAT settings and can be re-enabled later, which is what you want when you pause a market rather than leave it.
Regions
The states, provinces and territories inside each country
no stored settingsEach country can be expanded to show its regions, and each region needs a name and a code. These are what fill the state or province drop-down at checkout, so the list here is the list your shoppers choose from.
This matters more than it appears, because tax rules and shipping zones match on these codes. A region that is missing cannot be selected, and a shopper in it either picks the wrong one or gives up. A region whose code does not match what your tax table expects will quietly fail to attract the right rate. Codes have to be unique within their country, and the panel refuses a duplicate rather than accepting it.
Countries with no regions are perfectly normal; the checkout simply asks for a typed value instead of offering a list.
⚠️ Careful: Tax rules and shipping zones match on region codes. A missing region cannot be chosen at checkout, and a code that does not match your tax table quietly fails to attract the right rate. Check this list before assuming a tax rule is broken.
VAT
Which countries charge VAT, at what rate, and where reverse charge applies
no stored settingsEach country row carries its own VAT settings: whether VAT applies at all, the rate, and whether business-to-business reverse charge is in play. A rate can be set on several countries at once, which saves a great deal of clicking across the EU.
Reverse charge is the rule that lets you zero-rate a sale to a VAT-registered business in another member state, with the buyer accounting for the tax at their end. It only works if you are actually collecting the buyer’s VAT number, which is a separate switch on the checkout form, so the two settings have to agree before any of it takes effect.
This panel decides where VAT applies. How VAT is displayed and calculated, including whether your prices are entered inclusive of it, belongs to the tax settings.
💡 Note: Reverse charge needs the VAT registration field switched on under Settings › Checkout, and the rest of your VAT behaviour is set under Settings › Taxes. This panel only says which countries VAT applies to.
