Admin Console Guide
Basic Setup
Once EasyCart is installed, activated, and registered, setting up takes just a couple of minutes. Your entire shopping cart runs on three WordPress pages — store, cart, and account — and EasyCart creates them for you automatically.
Auto-Created
Three key pages
Store page
Displays your product grid. Uses the [ec_store] shortcode. This is where customers browse and shop.
Cart page
Shows the shopping cart and checkout flow. Uses the [ec_cart] shortcode. Handles payments, shipping, and order completion.
Account page
Customer login and account management. Uses the [ec_account] shortcode. Order history, profile, and downloads.
Nothing to do here. EasyCart creates these pages and connects them in Settings → Initial Setup automatically. We’re just showing you how the system works under the hood.
Try It Out
Installing demo data
Want to see how EasyCart looks and performs before adding your own products? Install sample products and orders with one click to test the storefront, cart flow, and admin tools.
Be careful with uninstall
The “Uninstall Demo Data” button removes all products and orders — including ones you’ve built yourself. If you’ve already added your own products, manually delete the demo products instead of using the uninstall button.
Go-Live Checklist
Before launching your store
There’s a lot of setup that can go into eCommerce, but we try to make it easy. Here’s a quick checklist of things to complete before going live.
- Have you added your products?
- Have you set up shipping?
- Have you configured taxes?
- Have you connected a payment provider?
- Have you designed your storefront?
- Have you tested the entire ordering process?
