Name It & Set the Window
Add a promotion name, a start and ending date, and decide whether to limit its use to a customer account and, if so, how many times.
Choose Your Promotion Type
Six ways to structure the discount:
- Price/Percentage off a product or group: A dollar or percentage discount applied to a specific group or product.
- Price/Percentage off at a cart value threshold: The discount kicks in once the cart total reaches and crosses the value you set.
- Price/Percentage off at a quantity threshold: Set a quantity for a category or product — once the cart hits that count, the discount applies.
- BOGO (Buy 1 Get 1 Price/Percentage Off): Buy one, get the second at a price or percentage off — popular for buy-one-get-one-free or 50% off deals. Set a maximum redemption so it applies once, or scales — buy 2 get next 2 discounted, buy 6 get next 6 discounted, and so on.
- Shipping discount at a cart value threshold: A shipping discount unlocks once the cart total reaches and crosses the value you set.
- Free Shipping on Selected Products: Offers free shipping at checkout. With live API shipping, it appears before all other shipping options; with Static Rates, it appears ahead of your other static rates. Applied only to orders containing the selected product(s).
Target Your Products
Apply the promotion to a manufacturer, category, or single product. It’s often easiest to build a dedicated product group just for this promotion.
Set the Discount
Enter a price or a percentage discount — never both. This step is skipped entirely for a simple Free Shipping promotion.
