EasyCart Diagnostics
EasyCart includes a built-in diagnostics tool that checks your server and plugin configuration. Use it to quickly identify missing settings, hosting issues, or configuration problems that could affect your store.
Overview
What diagnostics checks
EasyCart is a complex eCommerce platform that requires server configurations beyond a standard WordPress setup — email systems, PHP settings, and communication modules that vary across hosting providers like GoDaddy, HostGator, and Bluehost. The diagnostics tool scans for these automatically.
- Missing or misconfigured PHP settings — extensions, memory limits, execution time
- Hosting environment issues — server compatibility, file permissions, email configuration
- EasyCart-specific configuration — database tables, plugin settings, page setup
How to Use
Running diagnostics
Navigate to WP EasyCart → Store Status to view the diagnostics panel. The tool runs automatically and flags any issues it detects with your server environment or EasyCart configuration.
Not all issues may affect your store. Some flagged items depend on specific features you use. For example, a missing email extension only matters if you’re sending emails through your server rather than a third-party service.
Resolving Issues
What to do with the results
- Server-level issues (PHP settings, extensions, email) — contact your hosting provider to adjust these settings
- EasyCart configuration issues (missing pages, database tables, plugin settings) — check your EasyCart settings or re-run the setup wizard
