The WP Enable User extension is designed to allow a certain level of syncing from WP EasyCart to WP Users. To understand the concept, you will need to know that WP EasyCart Users are a unique and different user account away from WordPress Users. This is done for a variety of reasons including a more secure system as well as having more control and detail for users who shop and use ecommerce than simply manage the website or blog.
Conveniently though, many plugins for WordPress use the WP users for their operations, so it is often nice to have your WP EasyCart users sync over to WP Users. This action is completed when this plugin is installed and active. Any WP EasyCart user who creates an account is also created in WP Users along with login/logout functionality.
Download and Installing an EasyCart Extension
First, you must install all EasyCart extensions as new plugins. This is a very easy task with WordPress and we have a short guide here to get you started. Click Here to learn how to install a WordPress plugin and EasyCart Premium extensions.
Installation Steps to Follow
1. Install Plugin
That’s it, there is no settings currently for this plugin.
2. Testing the Installation
Visit your WP EasyCart account page on your website. Create/register a new user account as you normally would as a shopper. You should see the user go into your WP EasyCart -> Users account section as normal. You can also go to WordPress -> Users and you should see the same email setup inserted there. This means the installation is running.
3. Login for WordPress
By logging into WP EasyCart accounts a user will also be logged into WordPress with their synced user account. This can enable you to run third party plugins that require a WordPress account for login activity. Note that the actual WordPress user password is different, we can not sync those, but the ability to log into WP EasyCart and also be logged into WP is what this plugin offers.
